I know, what the hell? Quantum mechanics? It’s like multiple hot, sweaty mechanics working under the hood of a car, right? LOL, no, but it gets me going just a good. Purrrrrrrr, LOL!
Quantum physics, according to the American Heritage dictionary, is: “The branch of physics that uses quantum theory to describe and predict the properties of a physical system.”
It’s also: “In physics, quantum mechanics is the study of the relationship between quanta and elementary particles. Among other relationships the valance shell electrons and photons are quantized. Quantum mechanics is a fundamental branch of physics with wide applications in both experimental and theoretical physics.”
Hmmm, shivery goodness. Here’s one of the things that is so awesome about quantum physics relates to the interpretation of its core theory. Is reality only reality because we ‘make’ it that way, or is it truly that way?
Here’s an example: An incident happens and twelve eye-witnesses are asked to give statements. Not any of the twelve will have the exact same report. Why is that? Because it’s all about perception. Quantum physics is a lot about perception.
Food for thought
And I forgot to add, what about you guys? What non-sexual things get your motors running?

It’ll be out soon, YIPPEE! So please excuse this bit of shameless self promotion

All the danger isn’t from cyberspace, as Cole finds out when he meets Lucia for the first time. He’s torn between eating her and… eating her. Not good. Add to that John’s insistence they renew their prior intimate relationship - and suddenly finding a homicidal human suitor, bent on ripping Lucia’s pelt and magic from her, doesn’t seem quite so difficult.

I am so, so happy with this final book in the Pret Ops series. A huge fan of military fiction - be it romance or espionage - I have to say this series is exactly what I wanted it to be. Men in uniform that are more than just men, LOL, and women in uniform fighting right by their side and giving as good as they get!

That moves you on so many different levels that you have to share it with others. This blog, by bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon is exactly that. I know sometimes fans don’t want to know personal stuff about authors, but in this case I think many will make the exception because Sherrilyn’s words aren’t much about being a writer. They’re about finding the strength inside to keep going, to keep fighting, no matter what obstacles we face.
Whether you’re a fan or not, her words offer compassion, hope, and strength to all of us.

ROFL, I’m no Meg Ryan, but you get the drift.
The WIP is done, off to the goddess I call editor. I can’t languish in the sea of completion, though. It’s right into the next WIP. Still, it’s fantastic to release my baby off to be made better.
All right, so the other day I was enjoying a snap in the pre-ice age temperature my region of the US has been locked in this winter. It was a really warm day, nearly seventy degrees. Hell, I was sweating after just a few minutes outside in the sun. Which is odd, isn’t it, since I keep my house set at about sixty eight degrees in the winter and I don’t break into a sweat typing away, LOL!
Anyway, so the day after that warmth, the mercury stopped rising at about twenty eight Fahrenheit. Way to slam us back to Earth, Mother Nature. But the funny thing was, even though it was like forty degrees cooler, it still felt fantastic to me. I mean, for the last month if our high temperature got past five on the plus side, it was a good day. So nearly thirty was like… Heaven. Shoot, I was in and out of the house without a coat or shoes and I didn’t even get chilly.
ROFL, all this blathering actually did have a point, somewhere. Oh, yeah, next time the temp dips, look around and see the folks acting like they don’t notice. I bet they’re from someplace where cold isn’t ever used without a qualifier like bitter or bone-numbing,

Have you guys ever gone to dinner with someone who ran the server’s ass off then left a crappy tip? Ever get cut off by that person who follows up with a smile and a wave, as if they asked to cut you off and you said okay?
And the damn dryer has eaten MORE of my socks! Cripes, I think I’m gonna start handwashing them, LMAO!
What about you all, what kind of everyday things really set off your pet peeve o meter?
