But I want to share it anyway. If you guys are like me and opted to pay for your tax filing fees out of your refund (little though it was, LOL) you won’t be seeing that stimulus check anytime soon. That’s because the IRS decided that folks who used a third party - and opted to pay for tax prep out of the refund, or took a RAL or RAC - aren’t going to be getting the rebate as a direct deposit. They’ll be getting paper checks, whether the return was DD or not.

Kind of bums me out, well no, it really does. I was hoping to use some of the rebate to go back to Ohio for my baby sisters graduation. But since my rebate won’t be mailed until the end of May, well, that’s not going to help, ROFL. The saddest part is that a month ago, it wouldn’t have been an issue. But the price of gas has gone up almost sixty cents in my neck of the woods and I about died when I checked out at the supermarket last week. Holy smokes!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I know I was completely out of the loop on this, and I thought some of you might be as well.
